Is the end date included?

By default it is not, like most calculators. Tick "Include end date" to add one day.

Are holidays skipped in business days?

Weekends are skipped. Public holidays differ by country, so they are not removed.

Can I count backwards?

Yes. Use "Subtract" to go back in time from a date.
