Frequently asked questions
What does "whole words" mean?
It only replaces full words. For example "cat" will not change "category".
What are regular expressions?
A pattern language for advanced search, like \d+ for any number. Leave it off if you are not sure.
Can I use line breaks in the replacement?
Yes. Type \n in the replace box when regular expressions are on.
